Our Care Companions

Our companions serve as trusted partners to your aging loved ones, providing both compassionate companionship and dependable support. From engaging in meaningful activities such as playing cards to accompanying clients to medical appointments, our companions enhance daily life through attentive, personalized care.
We consider our companions an extension of your family, helping to promote peace of mind and an improved quality of life—whether in the home, hospital, or healthcare facility. Our greatest strength lies in our careful selection and thoughtful matching of care companions to each individual client.

Our companions are sensitive, conscientious professionals, many of whom hold Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials and have years of experience in home care and assisted living environments. We take great pride in pairing each client with a companion whose personality, interests, and skill set align with their unique needs.

Client evaluations are conducted in the comfort of the senior’s home or care facility. During these assessments, our Care Coordinator evaluates the client's care needs while also gaining insight into their preferences, routines, and interests to ensure a successful companionship.
​
All caregivers are required to provide proof of TB immunization and complete a comprehensive screening process. Once selected, companions participate in extensive training that meets the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, with ongoing education provided as needed.

All caregivers undergo the following screening and training requirements:

Criminal background check

Motor vehicle record check (when applicable)

Competency testing prior to assignment

TB education and assessment

Nine-hour training course as required by the PA Department of Health

Reference checks

Annual competency testing and TB education
